Gurrgle, gurrgle. Glub, glub. The Christian Science Monitor tells you all you need to get ready for an ocean view in Kansas.

Sea Level Rise: One meter and the Florida Keys are little more than a
dive site.

I don't know what you're all worked up about. I kinda like the idea of the ocean level rising. I'm 600+ miles from an ocean, so it requires some traveling to do any ocean diving. Get those sea levels up so I can drive to the beach! Hey, maybe we can turn Las Vegas into an artificial reef.

Of course, that also means that all of you coastal-types will probably move inland. Hmmm...

So, ocean levels are going up from melting & expanding. Does any one know if they're also taking into account that as temperature increases, solubility of CO2 in water decreases? We've already discussed how much CO2 is dissolved in the ocean and it's negative effects on corals & other plants/animals. If the ocean warms up, is that CO2 going to come out of solution? Easier on corals, but more CO2 in the air =>more warming?
